Layout~*~The layout of this page immediately caught my attention. Navigation and layout was the same all throughout the site. The graphics are very professional and neat, and the colors are bright and encouraging. The color scheme and font sizes are also consistent. Layout was very informative, with important information boxed in and other info not. Images were not placed for absolutely no reason at all. They showed upcoming events and important items or people to our state. Overall, the layout of this site was perfect for the purpose the site serves. A visitor to the State of Nevada homepage will most certainly appreciate it in one way or another! ~*~ |
Content~*~This site was created to inform about Nevada. The information on this site isn't biased, and it is updated constantly to post current information about the state. The Nevada government is most likely responsible for the formation of this site. The government obviously has a lot of knowledge about their own state, so they're qualified to write about this topic. The site is sponsored by the Nevada government. Sources are not cited; however, this site is probably very accurate because it is a .gov (government) page. The only contact information that can be infered by simply looking at the homepage is to contact the governor. The State of Nevada homepage is useful to anyone who wants to learn about Nevada.
