You don't need to see Cnet to know it is bad, so go back home. DO NOT CLICK ON THE CNET SYMBOL OR IT WILL TAKE YOU TO CNET!!!! GO HOME NOW!!! |
Why did I make this cell? I don't need this cell. I should delete this cell, but I like this cell. Must... move... Toward... the delete button... No! I just can't do it. Darn it... Hey! I filled the cell! Yay! |
From the first moment you lok at he site, you can tell it is either a tech network or a Television channel or both. In this case, it is both. What really catches your eye on Cnet is a large photograph that changes what it displays. Not much else, except the exceptionally large amountof Advertisements. Typical for a news network. The color scheme is not consistent either. First, it's black on white, then it's white on black, then it's black and black. Always the same colors, but used differently. And that's not all. The navigation is ULTRA-confusing. The bread crumbs are convientient, but the way they have a page that is a link to another set of links to another set of links t another set of links to another set of links and on and on and on is ANNOYING! IT is SOOOOO easy to gte lost from page to page, and the bread crumbs are hard to see and find, plus they are not on every page. I just don't get it! To add on to all of this, The layout on the homepage is super confusing. I mean, if you ask me the layout of the content is somewhat like this:
75% links and ads
24.99% the banner and newsletters etc.
0.01% ccontent that is actually useful.
And I'm not done yet. The load time is hardly even fast. On top of that, once it loads, it is Lag-O-mania! And it doesn't stop lagging!
All in all, I give this site an F! (Note: if there were anything worse than F, I would give it that.) |
The Cnet Logo:

(Go figure: Their logo is a link to Cnet.) |
